The Science

Train your vision the way you train your body.

Stroboscopic visual training is a research-backed method...

The Method

Less visual information.

Liquid crystal lenses flicker between clear and opaque. Your brain receives intermittent visual data and learns to fill in the missing frames. The result is faster information processing, sharper anticipation, and quicker reactions when you take the glasses off and return to your sport.

The Research

Backed by science.

Stroboscopic training has been studied at major research universities and in collegiate athletes since the early 2010s. Independent meta-analyses, including a 2025 review published in Nature's Scientific Reports, have confirmed measurable gains in reaction time and movement accuracy across multiple sports.

Training Modes

Six ways to train.

Six lens strobe modes built for sport-specific drills and rehab work. Four difficulty presets so you start where you are and progress.

Mode 01

In Tandem

Both lenses strobe together. Minimizes visual information and builds predictive skill on sport-specific tasks.

Mode 02

Lens Switch

Lenses alternate strobe states between left and right. Forces the brain to keep pace with rapidly shifting visual input.

Mode 03

Left Flick. Right On.

Left lens flickers while right stays clear. Trains the non-dominant left eye without removing real-world reference.

Mode 04

Left Flick. Right Off.

Left lens flickers, right lens fully blocked. Isolates the non-dominant left eye for full attention training.

Mode 05

Right Flick. Left On.

Right lens flickers while left stays clear. Trains the non-dominant right eye without removing real-world reference.

Mode 06

Right Flick. Left Off.

Right lens flickers, left lens fully blocked. Isolates the non-dominant right eye for full attention training.

4 Difficulty Presets.

Adjustable on/off strobe timing in seconds. Switch presets to match the drill, the sport, or the athlete. Lower on-time = harder.

Common Questions

FAQ.

Do strobe glasses actually work?
Yes. Stroboscopic visual training has 15+ years of peer-reviewed research behind it. When the brain receives less visual information, it learns to process the available data faster. Take the glasses off and your visual processing carries those gains into your sport. Independent meta-analyses, including a 2025 review in Nature's Scientific Reports, have confirmed measurable improvements in reaction time and movement accuracy.
What's the difference between Reflex and other strobe glasses on the market?
Same underlying technology (liquid crystal lenses), same fundamental science (stroboscopic visual training), comparable feature set. The differences are price and how you buy: Reflex is $177.97 with direct purchase. The industry-standard entry-level option sits at $350-400 through a dealer quote process.
Are they safe? What about seizures?
Reflex Strobe Glasses do not use light emission. They function as lenses with shutters that block or pass light. Photosensitive seizures are typically triggered by stimulus frequencies between 15-20 Hz. Reflex operates at a default frequency range significantly outside that band. That said, anyone with a history of light-induced seizures should consult their healthcare provider before use. Our glasses have never caused a reported seizure in their product history.
What sports are these for?
Stroboscopic training applies anywhere reaction time and visual tracking matter. Our customers use Reflex for baseball, softball, volleyball, pickleball, soccer, hockey, tennis, basketball, boxing, MMA, goalkeeping, and vision therapy / concussion rehab. If your sport demands tracking moving objects or quick decisions, strobe training transfers.
How do I use them?
Three steps. Open the free Strobe Glasses app, connect via Bluetooth, choose a mode and strobe rate. Wear the glasses during your existing drill or practice. Start with Mode A (both lenses) at strobe rate 1 (easiest). Progress as the drill gets easier. Watch the tutorial video above for the full walkthrough.
How long does the battery last?
A full charge supports a typical session length on the included USB cable. Full battery life specifications coming soon — confirm with our support team for current numbers based on usage pattern (constant strobe vs intermittent).
Can multiple users share one pair?
Yes. The neoprene strap adjusts to all head sizes.
What if they break?
We got you. You're covered by a 1-year warranty.
